Man, I’ve so not been Tumbling or Tweeting in the last week - quit my job, buying a house, took my little girl to Sick Kids for a CT Scan. But seemingly all is working out for the better… so I thought I would post my shameless guilty pleasure new favourite pop hit, Black Eyed Peas’ “I Gotta Feeling.”

So - here on Newshole you will find a crappily compressed version of the video, rather than the video how the director intended it to be. So this post, which would have been a shameless plug for the band, now becomes a rant about how retarded their video sharing policy is. Videos have always been made to be given away, for free. They are a promotional tool. And the beauty of the Internet is that you don’t have to cross your fingers that Much Music or MTV will play it. Each and every fan you win over can become an evenagelist for your music, sharing it with their friends and loved ones. And one of the best ways for them to do that, is to embed your video in a blog posting. The cycle of stupidity in the music industry is often mind boggling.
