I noticed my old friend and former bandmate, Dave “became a fan” of these folks on Facebook, Hey Ocean. Dave lives in Regina now, and I’m in Toronto, a decade away from Vancouver where we met and played together. Which is where this band is from. It’s funny, I follow local music for sport, like some people follow the Leafs (or The Canucks), but being in Toronto that means T-Dot music not The ‘Couv. I like these guys, and they seem distinctly West Coast. And they can play.
