It was probably a bad call for them to run this cover - giving ideas to dangerous rednecks and all. But it’s amazing how many coversations I’ve had with people that revolve around the thesis that, “If he ever makes president, some whack job will try to take him out…” - it’s hard to discuss in an honest way, because it’s just a hunch, and there’s no meaningful way to substantiate it. I actually would have been interested to read the article associated with the cover, but it’s been taken offline.
